And so it seems
the heroes are dead
those that stood at the forefront
-the edge of tomorrow
caring naught of the risk
but of the fall itself
and splash they would make
when they hit the ground.
knowing that by doing something
anything
they would make a mark
even if it should be
nothing more than a
dent.

blessed were these
gods among men
who showed us the way
who showed us justice
who showed us the truth
whose absence has caused
a godless world
of misdirection
and decayed principles
whose absence has caused
the message to
be lost
in a sea of
self righteousness

Prophets
of a bygone era
now stand on
street corners
warning of the end times
but no one listens
they just walk past
lost in their own
dissallusioned
American dream

War,
Poverty,
Famine,
Bloodshed,
Disease,
Disaster,
all around
THE END IS NEAR!!! !
but all that matters is who
will be kicked off the island
next week...

You Are the Challenger

8

You're brave, impulsive, and gutsy - loving challenges.

You act first and think later. And you're not afraid to speak up.

You are confident, so much so that you can be a bit bossy at times.

Whether people like it or not, you always stand up for yourself.

that pretty much hits is on the head.

I don't know WHAT THE FUCK is wrong with America at the current moment. I swear to GOD I am actually scared and starting to become ashamed to live here. Not only are we becoming the laughing stock of the world, we're also turning into one big Alabama. I generally don't have a problem with conservatives. They usually just sit back and know their place, but since furer bush has been reelected, they seem to have some crazy ass, high-and-mighty power trip they seem to thing is ordained by god.
For example, read this: http://www.thestate.com/mld/thestate/news/nation/10127751.htm . Since when do priest have the right, or even fucking THINK they have the right to tell the government what to do. Not to mention the FCC's incredible facist rule they've instated on the media. But the worst part is that a lot of the media has seemed to place this dictatorship on itself in fear of being chastised or fined by the all omnipotent FCC. Michael Mousellini, ahem, Powell, seems to think that he himself is god and is the soveriegn moral leader of america now. But hey, who wouldn't if everyone actually fucking treated you like that.
For some reason most of the fucking country wants to go back to 1910 when there was no such thing as television and if a woman's leg was shown men shat themselves. What they seem to have failed to learn is that YOU CAN'T FUCKING DO THAT! There is no possible way to undo the decades of social evolution. This puritanical brainwashing of america has completely come out of nowhere. One year ago if a half naked woman was shown on monday night football, they would have been praised and it would have been repeated numerous times. Now-a-days ABC and the NFL get harsh words from the government and lose public credibility. Over the last year the country seems to have lost the acceptance of sexuality that it has fought for to keep up with the rest of the world.
People think Afghanastan or Iraq are crazy places with religious lunitics ruling them that need to liberated so that the people may live free. But what they don't see is that we live in a country BASED on freedom and we are actually becoming just as bad as those places we seek so badly to "help."

P.s. for further information on America's current conservative paristroika, go to www.machall.com . Matt posted a few links to some news articles about the current state of things.

hells yeah i rock.

well this week has been crazy. period. last night was probably one of the worst ever. Today was incredible crappy, too, until 4th period. then things got better. I really wish this kind of stuff didn't happen to me. especially at a time like this. all i want is to be happy with someone thats happy with me. but everything gets has to get in the way. grrrr. oh well. without the bitter, the sweet just isn't as sweet. i'm really holding onto those words right now. now i'm gonna go wait somemore. i will be patient and persistent. dafadils.

friday night = spectacular.
you know those dates on shows like the gilmore girls or dawsons creek or something that are just so good and odd that you think to yourself, "like that'd happen"? well it happened, and damn it felt good. dana = my dreams.
saturday = crap crappy crap crap
why is it that after such a good thing a really bad thing has to happen? I mean it's not really as bad as it could be, but it's still pretty bad. oh well. i'd wait 6 months for her if i had to.
thats all i'm gonna say because its hard to express what i want to in words.

hey rob! looky! looky!
yeah i'm updating, no one cares anyway. so christmas was good, i got my truck cover. sweetness. i havn't done anything but sit around and play video games. damn i'm cool.

i've been reading alot of new online comics. and you know waht? i really want to develop my own style, one thats all mine. and then make good comics. heh. yeah, i really want to make a career out of art. it's the only thing i've always been into that i can do well. the best part about it is that you can make it as simple, flamboyant, miniscule, grand, or whatever and it doesn't have to mean anything else to anybody. it's all yours. i don't even think music has that kind of universalism.

its been good talking to people i havn't really talked to in a long time. it makes me get my mind off oter stuff. its more fun when theyu don't know everything. but on the same hand i'm lonely because rose and peter are both gone, so my coffee shop buddies aren't here to sit around with.

i want something new. something worth living for. routine isn't fun. i want something exciting. anything exciting to be exact.

today was ok.
BUT
the new lord of the rings dvd is super awesome as expected.
i also picked up the new blink 182 cd and the darkness cd.
the blink 182 cd is so different from anything they've done before. it's super produced, and it's not even really pop punk. its just weird. very good though. i'm enjoying alot. and the darkness cd is just whoa. so old school it hurts. they sound like a cross between zepplin, queen, aerosmith, the doors, and the rolling stones all rolled into one crazy band. it's also funny to note that they're one of tony blair's favorite bands. heh. also a great cd. this band just oozes charisma. i recomend picking up both these cds. also the new most precious blood cd is quite good. pillz and i were listening to it dans le video control room today. good stuff. i'm gonna pick it up soon. thats all for today. i'm out
